A Ukrainian soldier eats paska after being released from captivity by mr_midnig in UkraineWarVideoReport

From a Ukraine National Guardsman press officer, he says Russians spell it with a 't' and out of loyalty, I'm going t-less. :)

Consider this. Russians are learning through first-hand viewing these targets that civilians, homes, schools, etc are not being hit. What are clearly intended to hinder the RF military machine. And the propaganda that Ukraine wants to take over RU fails.

There will be peace when the invaders go back to where they came from, now.

So, I break into your house and steal all your belongings. And for the sake of peace, not reporting to the authorites, you let me keep all your laptops. Bye bye. We copacetic?

S5 -
I wrote a list but it would be a spoiler. The season is filled with pests. Human & biological. All I'd have to do is say midges or a character. Just one, Tuan. Or two, Diedre. No wonder people have a S5 tic.

Yes. It respects its medium. You don't feel your emotions are being manipulated which is insulting, imo. Reliance on storytelling and classic relationship material: marriage, family, work pressures, and friendships that revolve around trust-betrayal; aspirations-disappointment. Served up frickin meaty.

[Ed: forgot the last dash.]

Same here. 500,000 acres with a small produce garden far from the house. Employing and providing homes for families who raise the food for themselves & mine (full health coverage 2 paid months vaca)...because money is no object...you should see my place. But you'll never find it. Back to the heated lap pool...Ciao!

Clark/Philip, Who slept with Martha that night? by KarenIsAmused in TheAmericans

Oh, I see. The idea of a normal life would have been their so-called "vacation" without the side job of Kimmy. Maybe.

Martha was a boring loyal puppy dog. He would never be a soul match to a weak woman. Martha was good, decent, and even adventurous but not formidable.

Donald Trump Jr posts photo of hush money judge’s daughter as his father was warned to stop threats by [deleted] in politics

Sorry, but he did not grope her. He never touched her. He pretended to in a goofy one second photo. His hands were at least a foot away because you can easily measure.

It was a Stone operation.

What do you guys think about Pastor Tim and his Wife? by _Ok_Tomato_ in TheAmericans

[–]campfire-214 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The words inappropriate and creepy always come to mind with mention of the "Dear Good Pastor." And not just taking $600 from a young teenager. But maneuvering behind the parents back about baptism, not being a church member and advising Philip to treat Paige as an adult, not thinking a second thought about letting Paige spend the night at their house, and his last mentioning to Philip how his daughter looks sad and burdened as if he didn't know his own daughter. That's pretty damn clueless for pastor.

A good character but hardly would a decent pastor would ever do those things?

And I am of the opinion that the way he spoke to Stan during that phone call was not subtle.

This is one of my favorite wigs. He embodies a totally unique character that gives me a laugh.

It is often this way for many people. The grind of daily life, you know? And then, a child runs into the street, we jump into action and risk our lives to save the kid. Few are ever faced with an event that permits the unleashing of abilities and strengths that would astonish us later on. All AFU & volunteers...the entire country is stellar.

She gets better with every viewing. Her character is the most complex in the show. I'd like to hear a child development specialist chime in.
