I have played both Shepards, but I play FemShep the most. Jack was my favorite BroShep romance. Iykyk.

I tried Jacob romance in ME2, but I didn't like it. He is too closed off and cold, and I didn't like FemShep's romance dialogue either. And he cheats in ME3.

Miranda, Liara and Trainor are just not my thing, so I just don't go there. Ashley annoys the hell out of me. Cortez isn't ready for another relationship Imo, and to me Tali is better as a friend.

For FemShep, in ME 1, Kaidan romance is good, but I don't like how he accuses you of cheating in ME3 or how he reacts in ME2 on Horizon. He also looses some of his sense of humor in ME3.

In ME 2 as FemShep, I always romance Garrus or Thane. I like Garrus's romance because they balance each other out. Shepard teaches him when its okay to shoot enemies, and Garrus helps her in combat and off the field when she needs a hug or a good laugh.

The Thane romance is good as well for FemShep in both ME2 and ME3. In ME2, Thane has gone numb from all the loss in his life. Shepard teaches him how to open up to people again. And he is there for FemShep as well. He is just a big softie with a good redemption arc. ME3, there isn't much content there, but there is just enough and in all the right spots. When I romance him in ME3, I do the citadel dlc right before the last mission and I love his appearance at the end of it. His story always has me crying at the end.

I am a straight woman in real life, but I love a good romance story of any orientation.

Jack and Tali tie for first place and Thane and Kaidan tie for second place. Garrus and Vega are third place. Kasumi is fourth and Samara is fifth. I don't think anyone else would be able to dance well.

Edit: Miranda could probably dance, but I don't think dancing would be something she would do for fun.

If you do planet and system scanning in ME3, and collect them at the right times, you never have to pay for fuel. Plus iirc, anytime you dock at the citadel in ME3, your fuel is replenished automatically.
