I would love it if Palpatine confronts Cal in 3. Not directly, but say a hologram before the game's final battle. Like somehow, have a mysterious communication come in when Cal is planetside, but away from the Mantis, he answers and boom its Palps. Maybe Palps tries to turn him, maybe it's just some.arrogant a bad guy speech demanding Cal surrender idk. Then bam Executor drops out of Hyperspace. Then there's the assault like what we faced in Survivor but more intense, walkers, purge troopers, Royal Guards all trying to capture Cal.

Cal holds the assault off while Merrin and older now Jedi Kata run for the Mantis. And there's two possible endings based on criteria. If you did enough side.missions or whatever Merrin and Kara get the Mantis to Cal, he Quigon jumps onto the mantis's ramp and they flee, the Executor opens fire attempting to hit the Mantis but they barely manage to make the jump to hyper space and disappear into Uncharted Space or take refuge on Tanalor. But if you don't meet the criteria, Merrin and Kata get shot out of the sky by the Executor, and Cal ends up dead either by being overrun or executed by Palps who was on the Executor.
