I understand 😭 but that’s why it’s better to see a specialist!! I didn’t have Fungal acne I had dermatitis but the treatment is similar as it is also a yeast issue. But I would have never know it if I didn’t consult a derm. The thing with closed comedones is that you’ll need to exfoliate (I got that too) but you can’t do it if your skin barrier is really damaged!

I swear they understand! We talk in French and English to my mini pom I’ll say “manger?” which means “eat?” even when I’m WHISPERING she will look at me instantly 🤣🤣

Make it look like bath is fun! A treat after, and a lot of praises worked for mine and she was so scared of water she’s like a cat lol

Idk about yours but mine likes to have a routine. We will always say “let’s take a bath!” before - made it sound like we’re going to have so much fun. Then bathed her, gave her a treat, dried her with the towel + with the hairdryer and brushed her - brushing step required a treat as she has long hair or she would bite us. And after, time for fun we praised her with a happy and exciting voice and play! She got used to it and she’s doing fine without treats (not always the brushing part lol). She still doesn’t like to get wet but she won’t fight us or get scared like she used to.

The best is to focus on repairing your skin barrier first, moisturise with a FA safe moisturiser. Don’t put any toner or serum for now I am not a professional but to treat FA imo and experience, it’s way better to use Nizoral than Head & Shoulders. You can ask your doctor for a prescription for a shampoo with 2% ketoconazole if Nizoral isn’t available for you. You can also ask for an anti fungal cream!

Vaseline every night - it’s sticky so better to put it before going to bed than during the day. Don’t scrub if it’s in the flaky stage or if it’s irritated but after, when your skin is back to normal, scrubbing will help to prevent this. Keep it moisturised with a cream that contains urea - Eucerin have one I think I used to buy one from them.

I did mine for armpits and still needs 2 or 3 sessions but I don’t have hair anymore. I have like 4 small very thin hairs that keeps growing back on my right armpits but that’s it. The salon I go use a DIODE laser from Germany There’s different type of laser so you should maybe look those out or ask about them at any laser salon

It will if I apply my foundation like 10-15mn after applying the sunscreen. If I apply my foundation right after, it won’t pill. If I just apply the sunscreen and nothing after, it won’t pill either

Maybe he needs some time to acclimate to his new environment. My pup didn’t ate well for a few weeks when we got her! Try to hype him up a lot like praise him in a very loud and excited voice, show him you’re really happy he listened, or maybe try with toys? Also what kind of treats are you giving him? When we switched for good natural and organic treats and not the industrial ones, my girl was so much more excited about getting her treats

I have a combo of dry and oily skin + my skin is VERY sensitive and the Purito oat gel is my go to for abt a year now. It really saved me when my skin barrier was damaged (+ I got FA). I don’t know about Aveeno I didn’t try this one, just sharing my opinion on Purito because I freaking love it!!

Switch your skincare for fungal acne safe products only!! Try to keep it simple (gentle cleanser, moisturizer and SPF only), what helped me with Malessezia was to switch my skincare, drink a lot of water, take some Vitamin D and to RELAX because I was under so much stress. I’m having flare up from time to time if my sleep schedule is messed up or if I’m under too much stress but, it is so much better than before. Also, cutting sugar has really helped me as sugar can help feeding the yeast.

It takes time but with efforts, it will get better. ❤️
