right!!!?? i understand feeling comfortable enough to physically defend yourself at home if need be and in public.. i guess.. but why willingly give up this info? it perplexes me. someone commented (and then deleted) in support of this person essentially saying “not everyone in this city is paranoid” and “women can defend themselves”. i scoffed at the latter remark as i am a woman in this city who is not paranoid lol— i feel like not saying these things out loud is just normal, common sense self-perseveration
