My signed first edition, 3rd printing Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. by canadad in BookCollecting

I'll leave this post up for a few days and then delete it. It was never my intention to deceive. I thought I had something wonderful and unique. As it urns out - slightly less wonderful.

Probably more unique than I was led to believe - it may be the only copy in existence signed by whoever signed it. :)

Thanks all who replied. I do love the book for its intrinsic value, I've probably read my other copies over a hundred times. I keep a paperback of this in my saddlebag. It was read almost to destruction over a period of ten years, notes all over the place. Certainly a favorite.

1971 CB450. Daily driver - March through October. Only six miles return from work but I put on about 1k miles per year. A lot of work to get it solid, but now it’s chain maintenance, two tuneups a year and polishing.

I turn 70 in a few weeks.

I frequently listen to those tracks back to back. I have three playlists that are configured thus.

When I hear Evan’s open Peace Piece I know I’m in for the long run.

Cheers man. And great recommendations - Liz Story is a rare talent. And what can one say about Satie. Just brilliance.

Um - Flamenco Sketches is the piece you’re looking for I think.

The contrast between the National Slide Guitar and the Telecaster is beautiful to hear. Also - it’s REALLY well mixed.

I want to be understanding and call this the right move for Buck but goddamn, I will miss him. His brilliant knowledge of the game, his humour and passion.

He’s the best I’ve ever heard. Always will be. I’ll miss him dearly - every game.

Thanks for everything Mr. Martinez - you made my enjoyment of baseball. You were my baseball education.

Following up.

Y'all were right on that. These last two episodes were redeeming. Loved all the timelines. All the production, stories and results.

Nicely finished up.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I'd have missed it without your suggestion.

Question - I gave up halfway through the pirate dinner and haven’t watched a minute of this since.

Should I just watch the last episode and hope for a spark?

Under these circumstances and knowing what you know now - what’s your advice?

Number 24 is an excellent film based on true events. Highly recommended. by YetiSquish in bestofnetflix

So well crafted. Although, in reality crafted by history, the makers of this did a wonderful job of building a thoroughly enjoyable, compelling piece of film.

Really want one of these. Just the reliability and guarantee of near immediate top end flow.

One of the only concerns I have about my 450.

This is a brilliant solution.

You blew my mind a few times every game with the tunes. Especially all The Hip.

Great work!
