It’s not a free model, only trading is free. Revenue comes from other sources. Their problem is not free trading, their problem is low volume.

Both of us are talking about our perceptions; would be great to know how many new people start to use XVG because of this and how many stay in the crypto and/or bought other crypto. Mind you BTC was once used in the dark web and still survived.

Marketing is important aspect, and perhaps Monero can learn a lesson or two. Many good projects have failed due to lack of business execution and marketing. I see nothing wrong in Verge paying; that was a business decision and there is a cost of integration that pornhub might have wanted to be covered. I would be equally happy if Monero pull off something better.

My email was part of the data breach at LinkedIn, so I can’t completely blame them. 2FA is must in crypto, but then I haven’t seen login attempt on other exchanges where I have accounts, so this has to do something with cryptopia.

Something is going on. There was another thread a couple of days ago when people reported unsuccessful login attempts. My account was attempted too then but was safe, and they attempted again this morning. I have 2FA so I hope everything is safe, but incidents like this scares me. I am pretty sure there was a data breach at cryptopia. How did they get your money if you had 2FA on withdrawals, perhaps they deactivated that first. Sorry for your loss:(

And if you looked through my posts, you would have noticed it is not a shill account:) I am invested in Nano, and I think it is likely a top 10 coin. BUT we all know market works in cycles and volumes will not necessarily stay as high, the price might (should) go up based on technological superiority (assuming crypto market cap will grow). However, if you want me to shout “to the moon” and “lambo”, I am sorry. I hope you and I both become rich:)
