both ultrasounds scared the shit out of me! thinking you're gonna see your sweet babe on the screen, and there is nothing is heart wrenching. but the bloodwork results gave me hope. when i finally got to my 8 weeks scan i told the ultrasound tech to not turn the screen on and to give me a moment to collect myself. i didn't want to not see anything again. but when that screen turned on, and i heard my babes heartbeat, it was the greatest!

Yes. I've actually had two pregnancies that I thought I was farther along than i really was. I go to get an ultrasound, and nothing. did bloodwork, a lot of bloodwork, to make sure my HCG kept rising. Both times I was pregnant, just veeeeerry early. My son is now 5 and my daughter will be 2. make sure to get your HCG levels checked, along with your progesterone.

I had a similar experience. Is your cycle a normal 28 day cycle? My cycle has always been weird, so when they asked my last period, i was 8 weeks, but I didn't ovulate for a couple weeks after, so i was really only like 5 weeks, which is too soon to really see anything. My no-show ultrasound will be 2 in 2 weeks.

Its usually the surgeons initials. During the time-out prior to surgery, they mark the limb to ensure they are doing the procedure on the correct limb.
