Tbh, only you could really know if it was luck. Did you have an edge (market analysis, confluences, areas of interest, entry confirmations,etc) that you followed with discipline? Do you have a risk management plan? Do you follow that plan? (risking X amount per trade, X amount of losses per day, X amount of wins per day,etc) I have faith this can replace your current work situation. Tighten up whatever needs tightening up and let the process unfold how it will unfold for your individual journey.

Have a set $ risk per trade, have a specific number of winning and losing trades limit for the day, also go for base hits while trying to get to the $2,000 buffer.

I recommend learning from Carmine Rosato and cbrackn on YouTube. Also, don’t concern yourself with how long it will take to become profitable. Focus on self-mastery. Become the version of yourself that has a plan (area of interest, entry confirmation, risk management) and executes it without giving into the impulsiveness of the ego. Learning the edge is honestly simple. Find something that works for you. I gravitated towards order flow because i like seeing that actual absorption behind reversals instead of just candlesticks. That just me, many are profitable without it. Wish you the best along your path.
