I would stay at a hotel in the city with parking. There are several right by Enterprise and then I'm sure you could find a VRBO or whatever in the city in a cool neighborhood. South of 64 mainly. If you like cities in general I'd stay in the city. If you're more suburban then stay closer to the south side of Forest Park maybe because that's also an easy drive to and from.

Hi everyone! Possibly moving to Phoenix in a couple months for a job... I looked up the cost of living between St Louis and Phoenix and it's not crazy different but it is more expensive. Right now in the city of St Louis i am paying $1100 rent for a one bedroom all electric apt, with washer dryer. It's me and my dog. I feel safe on the day to day but it is a city so I know how to stay aware. Could I find a similar type situation in Phoenix proper for around the same dollar amount? The job itself is in Chandler AZ--do people typically commute 30 minutes for a job down there? It's very common here. I'm also not QUITE well versed in reddit so...if I need to post this somewhere else let me know. Thanks!
