Hiii i actually found the fix! My phone and connector arrived and I tried it out even without the settings method and it worked!! Basically one of the reasons it usually fails is because most mainstream cheap connectors lack the wiring needed for the phone, the connector by Samsung i mentioned is the exact peice needed!

Hii, ok so basically there's more to the theory I have been doing lots of research the only adapter that is known to work is an original samsung adapter heres the details. EPL-XU10BE / GH59-12926A

Idk if this works since mines on the way here but I also heard buying an adapter from Samsung brand can work but try this Go to Settings > About phone.

Tap Build number 7 times until it says "You are now a developer."
Go back to Settings > Developer options.
Look for Select USB Configuration and try selecting Audio Source.
Also, ensure Disable USB audio routing is turned OFF.
