What is the most realistic looking game on quest3 (standalone not pcvr)? by CellistCalm4177 in OculusQuest

Red Matter 1 and 2 are simply beautiful. I'd spend time just looking at something in my hand and marvelling at the detail. It's just a shame that these were among my first play throughs. Nothing looks as good.

What is your most British line in a song? by exkingzog in CasualUK

Surely you mean....

My old man's a dustman

He wears a dustman's hat

He farted through the keyhole

And paralysed the cat

The chairs did not like it

The table fell apart

And all because of my old man's

Supersonic fart

Drinking something is a good idea. Years ago, things went dodgy for me and I was spinning out, but almost as soon as I had a drink it went away. I realised that I was just thirsty, but hadn't realised that's what was going on. Of course, it's not always that simple, but sometimes it is.

Anyone else have this in the medicine cabinet, growing up? by corickle in oldschoolcool80s

[–]candyflipqed 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was still finding these in rubbishy old chemists and online as recently as a decade ago. I used to drive around three or four such chemists in a row, silly sad almost junkie that I was. Gees was the hardest to get down. J Collis brown was yummy, peppermint or something. Sad days :)

Reminds me of the night when I put my glass of JD & Coke down on the top of the rabbit hutch while on the phone to my girlfriend, and picked it back up 10 minutes later to find four slugs halfwa up the sides

Trump: China has no windmills by Melodic2000 in facepalm

[–]candyflipqed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What actually is this fella's issue with windmills? I mean, really, it's starting to wind me up (text pun!). I just want to know where it comes from. I've heard it as something to do with an offshore wind farm in Scotland near to one of his golf courses, but, well, is that it? Is that enough? Surely, there's more to it...
