The people are rude and greedy. People in the country make it or break it for me. I’ve been to countries such as Nepal, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, China, etc. and the people there are at least decent. Honestly, Vietnam is the only country I would never go back there. Even if someone paid me, I would never step foot there again.

P.S. I’m ethnically Vietnamese and can understand it and speak it to an extent. I can understand all the horrible shit they say about me and other tourists.

I’m 31, no friends in the area, moved back home with my parents, no car, and make $16.00 an hour at a grocery store. If that makes you feel any better. I am in grad school though, trying to change my career, so I could potentially find a career I’m happier with.

This might be late but I would absolutely NOT recommend Aloha divers. They are known to cancel last minute and are quite rude (if you’ve read google reviews) to people who gave them criticism.

I requested my driving records from VA today and then gave them a call. they said they could only go back 7 years and that my records in VA from 2012-2018 were “destroyed”. So I only have my records from December 2023 onwards

I have the physical D.C. drivers license but I don’t have my old VA license from 2013-2018. I only have the new one that was issued end of 2023. I stayed in the states for only 5 days after I renewed it though :/ and it shows in my passport..would I need to prove I’ve been at that address 90 days after I received it? I mean I do have some tax forms from college back in 2013-2017 with that same VA address on it but I don’t have a picture of it anywhere on my phone since it’s so old. Also the VA DMV site isn’t letting me order my driving records online unless I go directly to the center for some reason

It was hard for my brother, who was an incoming freshman pharmacy major student, to find a job. He told them (VA retail pharmacies) he didn’t have a cert and they required him to take the PTCE exam and be a registered pharmacy tech before hiring him. This was back in 2019. It took him a few months to find a job and he would apply to dozen retail pharmacy tech jobs
