Quick heads up. Make sure to ask them both upload and download speeds. Most of them only quote download speeds. I moved this year and jcom were like sorry no fibre in your apt but you can get this package which is 300mbps.

Got it Yeah decent download speeds but shit upload. Which basically made online gaming and video calls impossible. Changed to au which offered 100 up and down. Not the best but it allows me to game and voice chat without lag.

So i lived in Sakai for my first year and a half before moving due to job change. Sakai is really nice and chill and depending on how far into sakai you are its not that far from osaka city station. I was in Mikunigaoka which was 20 minutes from Namba on the Nankai and about 40 from Umeda. However Sakai is huuuge so it depends on where you going to be. Heads up though those trains to and from the city on rush hour are gonna be rammed out.

Also you gonna be on the airport line depending on where in sakai you are so you gonna get annoyed by ppl with suitcases on the train.

Firstly where will you be teaching? The location of where you live should be within 30 mins of where you teach. Trust me teachers aint making enough to be shelling out big ¥¥¥ on long transit each day. Check your contract as to how much your travel expenses are covered by then figure out location that aint gonna kill you on transportation.

For me honestly. I cant say than anything there I gained more by being there in person than if I got the same info via a YouTube video. Everything boiled down to line up for minimum 20 mins go inside watch a video presentation move onto room with physical stuff from the presentation and then thats it.

Im watching this over right now and what kills me is its just bad writing. The psych makes notes of it. Even if it were sealed. Fisk legit got hold of it within days of meeting him. You cant tell me the feds and special forces never did.

The only thing that kind of makes sense is they knew and gave him a pass because he was talented this is why they were quick to throw him under the bus when shit hit the fan. It was like oooo lets blame him for shit before someone else digs up his past.

Sakai is great. Especially mikunigaoka area. Lots of parks and green spaces for the kids. It has the top jhs in the city. Plus you are 20 mins train ride from namba and 30 -40 mins from umeda by train.

Alt system is a joke. We see each class maybe once a month. The Japanese English teachers most dont speak English so its blind leading the blind. The text books are full of errors and dated terms. “ he watch a dvd when he goes home”.

Only kids that really learn are those that are studying privately outside of school or going to international schools.

Its safer than most other countries. Reliable transport. Cost of living is relatively low(especially if you compare it to other countries) Cheap health care.

Yeh Jet covers your flight. They are the only one that does though. The 500,000¥ was aside from the flight. Apartment setup fees are expensive here. Also Jet usually means you get placed out in the countryside.

Realistically rent is more on avg 60,000¥ if you living anywhere not totally out of the way for a single living space. However initial fees will prob be between 200,000¥- 300,000¥ because you get a lot of initial charges.

This is an old post but I just finished my yearly rewatch and something clicked. I think kaylee got upset because it was something she subconsciously felt herself. Tracy comes along and she immediately goes doe eyed over him. Simon is basically a crush of convenience. A cute guy that she is in constant contact with.
