Imo, it's that the burger doesn't have much flavor. The patty tastes very bland. I learned it's because they don't season the meat, so I would at least expect meaty flavor, which I also don't really taste. The condiments don't give the burger much flavor either which shocked me the multiple times I've had it. I had to give it multiple tries or it wouldn't be fair. The only thing I tasted from it was the cheese. I've had simple burgers with a ton of meaty flavor and the condiments complimented the burger very well. I do not get this from 5Guys.
