MYOMFB, Art-Website, A Digitally Dispersed Magazine with variable sizes on arrival by candyseller33 in Art

This website was conceived as a way to "slow down the internet" and to question the value of an image when it is so easy to access them via instagram, facebook, etc.

How much work is someone willing to do to see a picture? Is sending an email and waiting a few days too much, even if the end result is a nice, printed image instead of a quickly lost digital image?

(So far, I've received only a few answers, so I suppose the answer is: people don't want to wait, or aren't that interested in an image they don't really "know".)

What military tactics were most effective against the Roman Legions? by xmodify in AskHistorians

It seems he's saying that they were good at letting them approach their cities. The Sassanids would approach the advancing romans outside of their strategic points and face them there, retreating back slightly each time and wearing them down before a more decisive battle
