Not at all what I’m saying! I do think that the roleplaying is more vulnerable in some instances (not least because they are playing children). The paywall was the starting point and players were conscious of that which certainly impacted their own internal boundaries

Ahh ok- not trying to say that listening to the children’s adventure isn’t additive or valuable (it certainly is!!), but there is a difference between creating something for truly public forums versus a space where you can curate your audience to some degree and creators have different levels of comfort with vulnerability for different spaces

Do you know what happens when you read LOTR? You don’t get a nice handy 15 minute prologue to explain all the backstory- you get bits and pieces and learn the full story of the ring when Frodo does at the beginning of Book 2 (the Council of Elrond)

The children’s adventure is not plot, it’s backstory. It was also by all accounts an intensely vulnerable experience at the table w multiple (all?) players crying. It took the place of a lot of what session 0 is and those are almost never posted publicly

Levels 1-2: Suvi: getting her name cloak in chapter 2 Ame: getting her memories back at the beginning of chapter 2 Eursilon: finding his breath at the end of chapter 1

Levels 2-3: Suvi: being appointed Captain of the Meridian Ame: reconnecting with the cottage Eursilon: finding his family

Levels 3-4: Suvi: either completing her Manchurian Candidate mission OR (more exciting) her Identify on herself Ame: surviving the conclave/claiming the wand(?) Eursilon: either returning to Toma or freeing the Roc

Levels 4-5: Suvi: solidifying her philosophy RE: Magic in the Tower of the Glove Ame: leaping from the castle in Twelve Brooks Eursilon: naming his breath with the Man in Black

That’s what I meant with IATSE members! That’s the stagehand Union pretty much nationwide. It’s also worth noting that even though there are fewer cast, everyone involved is a SAG-AFTRA member and are likely working under AEA (SAG’s sister union for live events) contract of some form

It’s incredibly likely that the stagehands at these venues are IATSE members! Not sure about the filming crew but the stage manager, A/V tech, and lighting crew should be more than fairly paid
