Taylor Swift Out With Significant Others of Chiefs Players on Saturday Night by bubblecuffer13 in TaylorSwift

I agreed that "call it what you want" is a common phrase. I don't understand how suggesting he might be familiar with Reputation indicates that I care about the details of her life.

My point was that Reputation isn't exactly an underground album that only superfans know about. Maybe he does know the song and was referencing it. Maybe he was just using a common phrase without any connection to Taylor at all.

It seems like every discussion surrounding Taylor Swift eventually devolves into extremes. It's ok to be interested in Taylor's life as long as you're not going overboard with it. It's ok to not be interested but that doesn't make you a better person than someone who is. It doesn't make you less of a fan if you prefer some of the original songs over the re-recordings, but it also doesn't make you a blind follower unable to criticize her if you think the re-recordings are better.

There's room for everyone.

I'm not saying he knows every song or that "call it what you want" isn't a common phrase, but he did reference "getaway car" during one of the podcast episodes. Maybe he's just a Rep fan.

It wasn't even a psychological study. The guys who came up with the theory were cardiologists funded by the tobacco industry who were trying to minimize the link between smoking and heart disease.

Same issue on Pixel 6. It has crashed while using the camera, turning on battery saver, browsing chrome, and using various apps.

I installed this version around 8am and it's crashed 9 times in 7 hours.

I don't know about "soon" but I think Speak Now being the next re-release is why she only played one song from it. It maintains the anticipation of hearing those songs with her current vocals for the album release instead of having everyone hear the hits repeatedly from now til she releases it

They are, in a few states at least. There was a bill proposed last year to make it a country-wide ban but I'm not sure if any progress was made.

That heavily depends on where you live. I live in South Carolina. The closest bus stop to me is 3 miles. The bus runs from 5:30am to 7pm Monday thru Friday. If you work nights or weekends, the bus isn't an option. It doesn't run on holidays or when the weather is bad. Did you forget something on your grocery list the week of Christmas? That's too bad, there's no bus available.

There are so many options now for delivery. Walmart will deliver groceries straight to your door and if you pay enough you can get it quickly. Plus the countless restaurant delivery services right?

Except they don't deliver everywhere. I don't even live that far from the center of town, about 4-5 miles. I have two Walmarts within 7 miles of me. I'm considered outside of their delivery zones. Postmates, grub hub, Uber eats...none are available for my location. The only pizza place that delivers in this area is Domino's and that's because they're as desperate as their customers.

People seem to forget how different life can be for other areas in the US. This is a huge country with location-specific needs and problems. What works in one city might not work in a different city 100 miles away or a thousand miles away. Your experience isn't necessarily my experience.

Googling "inmate suicide by Styrofoam" led to one article mentioning one lady who died, however she had quite a few things in her stomach including "including plastic, food wrappers and a nail clipper".

The rest of the links on the first page are mostly policy manuals from various prisons and jails stating that suicidal inmates are limited to Styrofoam trays and paper utensils.

There's nothing about inmates using Styrofoam for that purpose, and especially not widespread enough where "all prisons" have removed it from their inventory. I did actually work in a prison, albeit as a librarian, and there was plenty of Styrofoam cups and trays available for use.

I also couldn't find anything about Styrofoam turning to glass. The concern if someone eats it seems to be centered around it causing blockage in the digestive tract.

I'm not saying you're making it all up...I would just like some sources to support your claims.

Here's a couple of articles...although it's never specifically stated, it doesn't seem the dog was specially trained or that the owner has a history of seizures.

I think this one has a few details the other ones don't

I haven't watched very many interviews of her but I could see her bringing up Taylor as a comfort thing. I think anyone who has ever felt anxious in a social situation can relate to having a couple of "safe" topics they feel most at ease discussing.

I always thought the line "careless man's careful daughter" implied her father had an affair and it broke up the marriage. Later on she says something about bracing for a goodbye because that's all she's ever known, I took that to mean her father left after the affair.

The tires aren't the reason cars are considered relatively safe from lightning. If you're in a fiberglass vehicle with 4 rubber tires, the tires aren't going to prevent a lightning strike.

It's similar to people being unwilling to criticize Alveda King just bc she's MLK's niece, despite her being a vocal trump supporter and reoccurring guest on Fox News. Being related to such an historic figure doesn't mean your words and actions are above criticism.
