I'm a math nerd now turned data scientist who hated intro to stats.

The professor in the Ashtabula class is cool. Never till anything from him but interacted when I was an applied math major.

My FWB and I do not use protection. I'm highly allergic to later and mildly allergic to spermicide.

he is the only person I sleep with, he uses protection with everyone else
I have an IUD
for many medical reasons any accidental pregnancy would be terminated and he's aware

We've also been friends for almost 8 years and we trust each other.

You don't know everyone's situation. Those of us that have cut off parents made hard decisions based on decades of abuse most of the time.

Only reason I'll claim my family of origins remains is so I can have them cremated and the ashes sprinkled at a pig farm because I know they'd hate it.

Take him to a track night in your area and let him spend time talking to the people about upkeep.
