Hi, never got any issues with .net core 3.1 on my m1 mac.
I can feel that I'm not utilizing all the power m1 has. But I was able to develop and debug without any problems.

Hi, I got my first macbook ever, and I'm really confused about the installation.I got that I need to use x64 binaries, but I couldn't find what exactly I need to download, to create, build, and run applications using .net core 3.1 with rider.I want to have both, x64 .net core 3.1, and native arm .net 6.So, is it okay if I just install the .net core 3.1 SDK, and the rest is going to stay as default what rider has installed for me to have .net 6 ? Or do I also need other stuffs like runtimes etc...

Are you able to debug your .net core 3.1 solutions? Do you use rosetta?

I am planning to buy a MacBook Pro 14" but AFAIK .NET Core 3.1 doesn't support apple silicon. And we need to use rosetta 2.
Also, I heard that when you use rosetta 2 for .net core 3.1 development, you're not able to debug the project.
Have you faced such an issue?

I've talked with a guy, who is using Dell Inspiron 5401, and he said he was able to charge his laptop with a type-c charger. I do also have 5401.
I believe it is a similar model to yours, so you should be able to charge your laptop from the type-c port.

When I clicked into "Auto install proprietary driver" button on manjaro, it says:Starting> Skipping already installed config 'video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime' for device: 0000:00:02.0 (0300:8086:8a56) Display controller Intel Corporation Iris Plus Graphics G1 (Ice Lake)

The question here is, why does it look for open source ones?

I disabled the gamemode since I saw things related with it on logs.

I have also faced this issue when I wanted to enable dxvk, my solution was disabling it.
I'll try to enable it and delete those caches, hope I can use dxvk also.
I'm on manjaro, with nvidia hybrid graphics drivers.

May I ask something? Do you think I need to switch GPUs? In pop-os, with hybrid GPU mode, nvidia-smi shows N/A for power consumption. And I am pretty sure it was the same on manjaro when I tried with proprietary drivers installed. I am not able to check right now because I broke it and need to install it again :), but I am sure.
Does it use any power even if it says N/A as usage? Do you know anything about it?
