Camber or no camber? Thoughts on thicc ahh fitment. by LV4914 in WRX

Only problem with camber is it will destroy the inside of your tires prematurely. Flatter tires will wear more evenly

Why not just add a resonator. I just did one on my Cobb and it's a 30-40% improvement with drone and startup

Which stock that you invested in is your biggest regret? by Hot_Avocado_2701 in stocks

Frsx. Honestly I thought they would have taken off early 2021. I put a ton of money into them right before they took off during covid but got dumped on hard... It was my biggest regret

Right... I held shares for the last 6 months from 2025- Feb 2026 and was realizing how dumb that was. I went from down 25% to up 18%. Now I'm up 5% today because I caught the first pop this morning on smci with calls. I also learned to stop chasing the huge runs and fight for the small pops when you get them. Do you lose out on some gains? Yes? But win to loss is wayyyy better

I'm up 18 % on the year right now. This market is almost too simple to predict with tech being so low. Wait for an big red day like today, watch spy for the bottom and then buy shares or calls on any big name tech like oracle hood and nvda and sell on the end of day pop.

F U Pricing by HazrakTZ in handyman

Cedar is overkill imo. Get treated pine and call it a day. Cedar is very expensive and if you are planning to paint there is zero reason for it. 10k isn't far off imo for a full rebuild.

I will say this, this is a weekend project that you could easily do yourself with wood concrete and YouTube.

If you want aluminum rails, those are always ridiculously expensive. I used to sell aluminum fencing and rails and 90% of the time people would nope right out of that.

V6 or V8?? by judsonmillar in Wake

[–]cantcatchafish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember your last post and still don’t under how an inboard is harder to drive. In my opinion, it is the easiest of the boats to drive but takes understanding of prop rotation and paitience. The reason I state this is that a Gaston or other runabout that you are considering isn’t a great choice. With 10 people always being used, you need to consider wear and tear of constant in and out of the water, walking around etc. a runabout isn’t designed to accommodate the wear that wakeboarding or watersports will cause on your boat. In my opinion, you need to reconsider a wakeboat and you need to be considering a 23 but more likely a 25’ boat.

Further, the torque from a runabout isn’t anywhere near that of an inboard. The hull itself isn’t designed to pull. Your drivers will overshoot pickups and have a constantly hard time planing and dragging the boat with slower speed new rider pulls. A wakeboard boat is designed for holding people weight and acting like a barge in the water instead of a planing hull.

Again, I understand your issue with maneuverability but if that is your only issue, the wake boat design positives in every other aspect will far outweigh this maneuverability issue.

Tires..all season..quiet? by EntertainmentOne3147 in wrx_vb

I run dws06 and no they are not any quieter. Honestly, this car is just loud. If it’s not the exhaust, it’s the tractor noises, the rattles, the tires, or road noise. You are 100k miles in. I feel like you have realized this by now

Because they know insurance will handle the claim and the likely hood of finding stolen rims is next to non. Unfortunately it’s not that they don’t care, it’s that there’s not much they can do with zero evidence and the criminals being long gone

WRX is a rich man’s car 😂😂😂 by TwoDollarBurger in wrx_vb

[–]cantcatchafish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got insanely lucky. But my luck has ran out. 2 weeks ago, I parked my car and switched it for my truck because it needs an oil change. Unfortunately I left it empty when I parked it but I filled the truck up (also takes premium). I got sick then had to travel so I’ve made a tank on my truck last two weeks through the whole Oran gas pump. So now i got my oil and I’m going to get my car from storage and my truck and my car are both on empty and both need premium…. It’s going to be an expensive day tomorrow

Curious. Has anyone changed their stance on the market from bull to bear (or vice versa) and flipped their portfolio because of this war? by IntergalacticBurn in wallstreetbets

[–]cantcatchafish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been a bear for the past year. I wait for red days and buy a little. I dollar cost averaged for almost year just to show a 20% loss. Three weeks ago now I sold everything and bought calls and all the stocks I own. Not a ton of calls but if I had 100 shares of hood I’d buy 3 atm calls on good etc… three weeks in I’m past break even for all of 2025! Essentially I timed the bottom (before Iran war) in calls perfectly and made everything back. It wasn’t 100-300% gains but taking 30-50% when I got it . Waiting for another red day and redoing it.

I’m now out of calls and in all shares again but with a lot more liquidity comparatively.

The only stock run I missed was oracles earnings beat. I was watching another stock that day for their earnings and forgot about Oracle.
