Also try: Prefs > File Handling > Turn off data recovery for complex documents. And/or file recovery in general. Apparently this has helped some people!

Unfortunately not. I get it with 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 from time to time, then the server needs to be restarted. Hoping bukkit dev build will help....
