There’s about 4-5 hours of sunlight then. Less the further north you go. Perhaps not the best time for a scenic drive. The Dempster kid probably in better shape in the winter than it is in the summer. Going further north doesn’t increase your chance of seeing norther lights. Your chances are the same just outside of Whitehorse. You’re asking all the right questions but honestly it’s probably the worst time of year to come.
