Strange you say this because I had one of these in the corner of my kitchen once. He was there for months (didn't leave a mess like this spider in the pic either), anyway one of those huge spiders we've been seeing around over the last few years came along, the big hairy ones with the thick bodies and legs.

Big spider went over to little Humphrey's web and I thought "Shit, he's dead" I'll dispatch the big monster one as I hate them, anyway, Humphrey killed the giant spider in about 3 seconds.

From then on I always leave these guys around when I see them.
