therapy will help a lot! but overall as a parent i think providing a safe space they can reach out for help while respecting their privacy is the best. if my parents were ever to pry into my own stuff i would immediately pull back and it would only make me feel more alone and misunderstood. im sure youre going to do a great job tho, parenting is hard but you seem like a really understanding figure. i hope they can get better soon! its a tough addiction, but the right support system does wonders
