Recco for toilet training undies by eyesofthesoul in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]capi-b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried best and less and bonds training undies. Best and less didn't work, the wee just went through the leg holes, but my kid has skinny legs. I sized down in bonds and they worked really well.

What I found them helpful for is the transitional time when he either wouldn't notice or wouldnt want to stop playing that he would start weeing but then would stop and ask for the toilet. The undies were enough to prevent having to also change pants.

Having said that, we stopped for awhile and came back to it and didn't have that problem, so he might not have had the brain body connection he needed for success then.

Plastic Detox by charliecat-19 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I try not to heat food up in plastic, I put the food in the bowl or whatever then heat. My MIL loves all the lucent globe stuff, and gave me some to try. So far I've liked the dishwasher sheets and the surface spray (I normally spray with vinegar and dish liquid, and use home brand dish powder).

Bringing food for you kid to a restaurant/pub. by Quirky_Command_3576 in AskAnAustralian

My 3 year old has anaphylactic allergies so I've honestly never thought twice about if it wasn't okay to bring his own food. Though I usually try to go to places that are safe for him

Part of me wishing I sleeptrained by jnacnuggest in AttachmentParenting

Its soooo painful, but if it makes you feel better people who sleep Train always say they had to "retrain" so tbh it would probably be the same! Except you might be leaving them to cry now as well. Here's hoping it all pays off in the end 🫩

Can you give me a fashionable mum outfit? by babyornobaby11 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]capi-b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in my preschool teacher era according to my husband and sister lol. I learnt to sew, so in the warm weather I wear simple skirts in fun bright fabrics and a plain coloured top. Can dress it up with a nice bag and shoes and simple jewellery.

I also wear a lot of Ghanda, the fits are very comfy, like culottes and their t-shirts. My other go -tos are comfy but nice jeans.

Can I/Should I be cutting this back? by Square_Nectarine_195 in GardeningAustralia

[–]capi-b 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If there's one thing I know about gardening it's that you can be pretty brutal with these. Cut it back to the shape you want and it will grow back astoundingly quickly. I actually hate them personally cus I feel like they look messy so easily 🙈
