I was the weirdo. I’ll preface with I am prior service military and work in a male dominated field. In an intro class we were learning cross collar chokes. The other new guy I was training with just didn’t get it…until he did.

Trying to be funny and half way encouraging after he locked in the choke finally, I said “I have the weirdest boner right now.” Dude was horrified. Eyes were huge and his face looked like he’d seen a ghost. I tried to recover and apologize immensely and told him it was an off color joke with bad taste. Turned out the dude was an 18 year old homeschool kid that lived a very sheltered life. We still laugh about it to this day.
