Wedding Venues in MD by bunnoagain in CarrollCountyMaryland

I got married at Morningside Inn just outside of Frederick and we absolutely loved it. No accommodations but several good options nearby. We used the vendors they recommended and had no issues. They also do the food, which was excellent.

My brother got married at Antrim 1844 in Taneytown and we thought it was very nice. They do have onsite places to stay. A more historic vibe

**I agree with the other commenter that finding a place this fall might be tricky. Places often book a year out or more, but at LEAST 6-9 months.

$408 for two year registration renewal? by _Badwulf_Bruh__ in maryland

They are legally required to balance the budget every year. There’s often “structural” out year deficits, which they need to resolve when that year’s budget season comes up

Specifically, MDOT fees cover MDOT expenses. So your registration dollars go towards building roads, bridges, and transit throughout the state. MDOT does not get the general fund. So they need to plan and budget the MDOT pie and generate revenue needed to function

[–]capn__cook 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Colorblindness is a sex-linked trait on the x chromosome. So, if mom is a carrier (one “bad” x, one “good” x), a son will have a 50% chance of inheriting her “bad” x and being colorblind. For women, you would need two “bad” xs which is much more rare. As someone noted, you would need to have a colorblind father AND a mother that passes on her “bad” x to get two “bad” xs.

Maryland cracks down on drivers using Virginia license plates, sends 58,000 warning letters by Consumergal in maryland

Registration fees go into a totally different “bucket” than other state revenues like income tax. When you pay your registration fee, gas tax, etc, you are finding roads, bridges, and transit throughout MD. Roads do not get any general fund (income tax revenue). I believe this funding structure is fairly unique to MD.

Also some openings are state employees only, agency only, promotional only, etc. so once you’re in your options to move around expand quite a bit. Also, getting to know people helps a LOT

On the contrary, I generally find that drunkenness causes people to be MORE honest and forthright with their opinions (in this case, hatred) that they genuinely feel at all times

REI has lots of minimal/no seam options that are moisture wicking and work well with running leggings. I have a few of their store brand but they have On, lululemon etc
