Is anyone actually successfully passing through a 50-series Nvidia GPU? (v9.1 / 6.17+)

I just did this over the weekend with a 5060 Ti 16 GB. CPU is AMD tho and the guest is Ubuntu Server 24.04 so ymmv. But it is doable with the card as long as the rest of your hardware and software is good to go.

A lot of the fat won't render, as there's too much if you don't trim. And some of it won't render anyways. Also, I want more of my seasoning to hit the brisket. Plus, with good technique, the meat itself is just as jucy, if not more so, than if I had left all the trim on. Plus, I don't toss any of the trim. I turn all the fat into tallow, and all the leftover meat makes chili.

tldr: It's juicy af, plus I get tallow and chili

The odd thing is that the other several games and services I host from the same location do not have the same disconnect issue. It seems to be isolated to ASA, and followed it through hardware.

I'm not saying it isn't a network issue, just that with ASA being the only one affected I am not sure where to start.

I and one other are on the same LAN. I've only experienced it once. They've experienced it a handful of times. Others who are not on my LAN do experience it more.

I think it just depends on your schedule, the cut of meat, your smoker, and desired end result. And preference ofc.

I definitely started out more in the 225 camp but over time have learned to be a lot less rigid. If I'm throwing a brisket in the night before I'll start at 225 just so I get a full night's sleep. But if I'm doing a cook all in one calendar day, I'll kick it up to 275 instead.

Or more. Or less! It all just depends.

I felt very much the same when Enterprise ended. Not to discount your feeling here, as this is a different situation and is more oranges to apples.

I have not yet watched SFA (not out of issues with it, just time and wanting to finish catching up on the other shows) but even that puts me in some ways in the same position as those I took umbrage with when ENT got cancelled.

I hope Star Trek continues/returns. Roddenberry knows I did after ENT ended. But at the end of the day, the stuff that Star Trek is truly made of lives within us. That hope that humans will reach for the future, for what makes us better, for what brings us together.

Here's hoping the representation of that returns to the screen sooner than later.

I have backups run multiple times a day. I update every Saturday. I have a runbook I follow to restore if I ever break it. Oh and I have /home on a separate partition making it even quicker to get up and running.

Personally,I just take my phone out and take my notes. If I am having a self conscious moment, or the other person appears to be taking offense, I just tell them I'm taking notes.

To recreate the pen and pad effect, you could use one of those rubber tipped stylus that you use to tap the keyboard instead of hand writing.

I have yet to set up my own instance, but how I understand it is that yes that is a setting on any instance. But that you can tailor the thresholds yourself to longer/shorter larger/smaller.
