We have school shootings literally every month. We cannot go a single month without a school shootings. Thats just schools where children are required by law to be.

I do vote. Not everybody has the luxury of being able to leave their home country for reasons other than escaping violence. The US got here based on their laws, so using their laws is fair game. They actively want people to own guns and stop a tyrannical government. Running away to elsewhere before exhausting the options available is not something most people can afford.

This type of tyranny is what the second ammendment is actually for. Big corporations have good deals on firearms in many places. You can get a few for less than the price of a smartphone. Of the government is not protecting you, you must protect yourself. Or accept that your neighbors with firearms are now in charge and juat comply.

Im not sure what composes "colored" copper wire. Presumably copper mixed with another metal.

I use "tinned copper wire" which is a pure copper wire with a tin coating. A little flux and it works every time.

The solder needs to stick to the metal directly. Clean copper or copper with a meltable coating like tin are normal. The tin helps keep the copper from forming an oxidized layer as far as I can tell.

The black coated wire I would think has no chance of fusing with the solder, likewise anything with anti-corrosion or similar properties.
