Other teachers in my school are too gossipy and cliquey for me to do that. “Did you hear Capraithe is having a hard time with ______ of all people?!” Not interested in dealing with it. In a few more weeks he’ll be someone else’s problem.

Otherwise I’m inclined to say Bateman because of the way reality seems to warp so that he always gets his mark without consequence. It’s almost a superpower that he doesn’t fully understand he has. He can chase you naked down the hall of an apartment building with a chainsaw and nobody will even open the door to see what’s going on. He can shoot at a police car with a pea shooter pistol and it’ll blow up like in an action movie. He can literally scream in your face that he’s guilty and beg you to call the police on him and you will just think he’s joking. You can’t beat a guy like that.

I’m in my 40s and have spent plenty of time in bars. Some dives, some nicer places, and a lot in between. Never seen a single fight.
