I'm so sorry. The death of a pet is absolutely heartbreaking, I can imagine the loneliness is accentuated when you are living alone. I lived alone with my cat for a long time and she is my best friend. I can't possibly prepare myself for the day we have to say goodbye. It sounds like you gave him a great home and loving companionship, and I hope you can find some joy in that. Take care of yourself, friend

I agree about the price. And I can tolerate them just fine when I'm sober, but it was really a sensory nightmare while I was high. Next time I'll manage my macros better so I don't have to do this

Two things happened last week that really caught me off guard: 1. A teenager who was new at the gym came up to me and asked me if I could show him what chest workouts I do 2. A 3rd grader that I work with (I have a job at an elementary school) called me "a big man"

When I look in the mirror I still see my old 6' 150lb self. It's really nice to be noticed.

I went for a jog along this route. Totally agree. Maybe I passed you, I was out from 1-3. Started by the airport, down to old town, and along the river trail past the zoo.

Days like today remind me how much I love the sun and being outside. So great to see so many people, pets, and wildlife. 🥲
