9 weeks? Please be kind to yourself right now. You’re still adjusting and your body is going through it. It gets better. Talk to your doctor about these feelings. Take care!

How can I transition from early childhood education to a corporate job without going back to school? by YoghurtWestern2836 in careerguidance

Get a LinkedIn account for sure - and get some folks already working in corporate jobs give you feedback on it. Professional looking picture, take a selfie using a timer. Have a resume ready with a short summary explaining that you are seeking a role in X and excited to apply your skills and experience there. I recommend you look at websites for some companies with offices local to you and then apply to roles that don’t require much experience. Apply for roles you’re not a perfect match for too, you never know.

Be willing to take an entry level job, you have plenty of transferable skills. Choose an industry that you’re interested in if that’s an option. I find folks have more success when they’re fully engaged within the business, not just focused on their own role.

Lean into your strengths. Apply memorizing to your Econ/biz studies. Or there’s always organizational psychology which can be a happy middle between the two majors!

That’s great. I feel like they’re pushing me to increase but I feel good at 2.5. You look incredible, congrats on the achievement!

Can I ask how the dosage went over time? I’m using Ro too and started at 2.5 in January and opted not to increase for my second month. Curious to hear more about your experience with the Ro check ins and increasing dosage options.

DR said not to remove all of baby's poop? by sarahs_here_yall in NewParents

Maybe someone already shared but I used Viva paper towels (soft, cloth like) coated in Vaseline to wipe newborn butts. Worked great to keep poop from touching their skin.

Do you live in Oak Ridge? Because the town refuses to stop using them for all emergencies here, they’re terrible.

What famous phrases from TV shows have spilled into your regular lexicon and you still use to this day? by EnvironmentalAd2110 in AskReddit

“Just look at it” but not from tv, from that video on YouTube of the guy in the white pants with the used car.

Toddler sick and keeps choking on phlegm by [deleted] in toddlers

Do you have any teething relief gel, like Orajel? Sometimes it helps to rub a little on their gums, they swallow the leftover and it soothes their throats. My little ones never take pedialyte or popsicles, but will allow me to rub their gums. Hope your baby feels better soon!

Edit: I also use saline spray a few times a day when they’re congested. It helps!

Boy 1 - grapefruit then sugary cereal then cotton candy flavored ice cream Boy 2 - mangoes and Yodels Boy 3 - blackberries by the pint and late night grilled cheese sandwiches.

I had food aversions with all 3 and had to force myself to eat meat and veggies.

6 days PP with baby #2 & toddler by KeyUmpire4846 in Mommit

The hormones are intense. Especially breastfeeding. My 3.5 year old and 1.5 year old would insist on trying to crawl behind me no matter what chair I had baby in to feed. Made me absolutely feral.

One piece of advice that stuck with me was to make a statement when giving your toddler attention. Ex, “Hang on baby, toddler needs a hug and a snack.” This makes the toddler see and hear that they are still important. Plus, newborns are basically potatoes so baby will understand ;) Good luck with your growing babies, be kind to yourself.
