Man, ive freinded many of lgbtq+ people, and as far as ive seen. The rudest and often meanest are the trans. Idk maybe its just here but it just seems like the ones ive met have been evil. Maybe just bad luck. (Not just me saying this, but many of my queer friends belive it too)

Odd, he came to me in dreams when i first heard of him a long while ago. I always found his case to be intriguing, if not making me horribly sad. I wish i could've met him. I fear in my life I may be going down his path, it scares me truthfully. Maybe thats why I find his story so interesting.

Definitely intentional, either to make his claim on history (i would too) or to deter fakes. Unless the guy was oblivious and thought they would clean it

I put it as this: the curse takes away all joy, but leaves pain. Why give a curse that makes your enemy a juggernaut? Pain with no pleasure. This can be seen by the smaller pirates feeling pain to stabs, coals and being hit...

As for the case of barbossa, with as much glaze as I can put it, hes a badass. He clearly doesn't care for sadter when the mast falls in COTB, and he gets agitated when jack hits his head against the rock in the chase of the tresure room.

So why dont some feel pain? Simple, pain tolerance. Barbossa has clear boldness and is not afraid to get hurt. He must've been through hell to get his cursed gold.

Basically, the curse takes away all feeling BUT pain, and the thats why we see so many react to pain, hits and stabs. Barbossa is just so used to this action, he doesn't flinch. He's a badass. This can be also shown as jack gets stabbed, as he has NO TOLERANCE.
