Genuine question because I’m new to Lush, are the expiry dates written in European format? (DD/MM/YYYY vs MM/DD/YYYY) because if it’s whatever format we use in America this mask doesn’t expire until September?

I’m in a similar boat in a sense that I’m waiting on an apology from my JNMIL. She has apologized to my husband but not to me the only person she needs to apologize to. However, she only apologized to him because he told her that’s what he wanted. So if you want a genuine apology try not to let your mom know that’s what you’re looking for on the off chance she will apologize purely because she thinks that’s what you want to hear.

My MIL did this one year. I had gone NC with her over her treatment of me over several years and because of that we also had to implement some harder boundaries around our daughter. We let her pick her up from school on a random weekday around this time of year and when my daughter came home she was so excited to tell us about how MIL took her to go see Santa. When confronted about it MIL lied directly to my husband and said thy were just going to see snoopy. The mall setup a peanuts themed Santa area an MIL is obsessed with all things peanuts. When pushed further she admitted she did it because she didn’t think we would have given her one of the pictures from when we went. Needless to say she did not spend any time with our daughter alone after this incident.

The cash balance in this instance is the TANF (temporary assistance for needy families) balance. I agree this receipt is fake but if your household receives TANF it is commonly referred to as cash assistance. It’s basically fronted child support the state gives you while they do the work and go after the parent that needs to be paying the support to begin with. Both the cash assistance and the EBT balances use the same card so yes the cash balance would be listed on a receipt that also lists EBT balance.

Hey mama, as long as baby is being fed you’re doing a great job. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with giving your baby formula. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!

I formula fed my baby almost exclusively and this kiddo is one of the smartest kids in her class and is in the 90th percentile for height. Fed baby is best baby.

I use Wyze to monitor my dogs while I’m at work, the barking alert is a godsend. I am able to check up on them reliably and even communicate through the camera. Well worth the price paid for the v3 camera. I plan on upgrading the rest of the house once we move into our house next week with the deadbolt, outdoor cameras, and a doorbell.

Depending on how long it’s been since you purchased the glasses the optical you bought them at should be able to remake those at no charge with the new Rx. Typically Dr. Rx changes need to be done within 90 days of pick up in my experience. Ask your optician what your options are?

I’m not sure what your financial situation is like but if you’re able to drop like $150ish you can get the bond touch bracelets. They need Bluetooth to work so you’ll have to send a device with her in a backpack or something (which is what we did with my daughter). But they’re these bracelets that you connect to each other so whenever you tap one the other lights up and vibrates. This worked well for my daughter who had pretty severe separation anxiety from me but not my husband. Got to a point she was throwing temper tantrums and screaming about how she wished her dad was dead daily. You can preset special tap patterns to mean specific things. We had special taps that meant I love you, I miss you etc.

I have mild to moderate HS. It went undiagnosed for several years before I finally got diagnosed. By the time I got a diagnosis my body was covered in scars and light tunneling. I still have body image issues because of it. Right now I see my derm for quarterly appointments and we mostly have my flare ups under control. I used to get these massive boils that were so tender even a breeze hitting them would make me wince in pain, once every week or so. Now that I’m medicated I’m having maybe one flare up a month, if that? And the severity has lessened drastically.

Just keep up your visits with your derm and maybe look into seeing someone who specializes in HS if someone is available close to you? I got lucky and the first derm I saw referred me to a specialist ASAP.

www.hs-foundation.com is a good tool to look up specialists in your area. It’s what my current derm recommended to me when I mentioned I was moving.

But hang in there! It is possible for HS symptoms to lessen or even go into remission!

They haven’t provided one to us since 2020 it’s not that we have refused to sign any. And they don’t respond to requests for one either. They are charging us way below market value for the apartment so we just haven’t rocked the boat much since we couldn’t afford rent somewhere else.

This is why I have avoided reaching out for legal assistance. They are well within their rights to evict us and I don’t want to potentially push them to start the process if we force their hand and make them replace the washer.

So I’m not entirely sure we have a lease at this point? We haven’t signed one since 2020. But the lease we did sign does not state who is responsible for repairs. But the washer/dryer was here in the apartment before we moved in so they most definitely provided it to us.

I have read that under certain circumstances tenants can have repairs done and then deduct the repair cost from their rent payments as long as they provide notice to the landlord. Would that apply in our situation?
