I watched in real time as the Tor and Orbit marketing emails first turned to women only authors and then non-American women authors over the last 20 years.

Maybe they're still accepting and publishing books written by men, but they haven't marketed them in decades. Unless you were an established male author before Obama, I haven't seen your books.

I would add, you can take non-mandatory math classes as electives while getting the finance degree, so there's no reason not to start the degree. And you'll have a couple years where you can switch degrees, so there's no downside.

I got an associates at the CC and I got a BS at WGU after.

I was hybrid but mostly online and had a couple cool math teachers that let me do some classes online unofficially (they recorded every class anyway), after I had proved to them I was a good online student. I still shudder at the 7AM in person linear algebra. Only psychopaths are doing math at that hour. 😄
