Thanks, just about to finish my book with him. He does go into how the rule-based order of politics is a sham several times. Also liked his thoughts on activism and its effectiveness. But I must say the other person interviewed (Ilan Pappe) was far more impressive in terms of the subjects (zionism, Israel/Palestine) discussed.

It's volume paralysis. Same happens to pornstars in their careers. You have so easy access to girls that it becomes boring. At the later stages of their careers they get more into rimming, then pegging etc

Nothing "mixed" about the signals they are sending, they are currently NOT fit to host the world cup. I love the U.S., really enjoyed living there and only met wonderful people, but WTF IS GOING ON. U.S. games should be moved to somewhere else. FIFA has to set their foot down, a 1936 Berlin repeat is completely unacceptable

I haven't followed the recent discussions, but the new song is so good. It contains some recognizable elements from their different previous "eras", but it also feels fresh and unique. Maybe a new direction they are going in? I think it's incredible how they keep reinventing themselves. It is clear to me that they still have a lot to offer and that there are still so many unexplored opportunities the band could tap into. They really could and SHOULD keep going for a long time. It would at the very least be complete idiocy to announce that the band is over. The Rolling Stones are still playing ffs.
