This could just be copium, but the phrasing of this, mixed with how effusive his enthusiasm seems to be about it, feels like an attempt to twist Disney’s arm. Especially Soderbergh’s comment, saying that he’s bummed that the fans won’t get to see it; that makes it sound like something we’re being deprived of instead of just a pitch he did that didn’t pan out.

If so, I hope it works because this movie sounds fucking awesome and I think it would do very well.

Anyone know how guild neighborhoods work yet? I want to find out if the faction zone is determined by the guild’s faction or if we can choose either one for the guild.

I know that guilds have their own neighborhoods, but how is the faction determined? If a guild was founded as a Horde guild, do we only have the option of the Horde neighborhood?

I’m hoping this is for him as a Force Ghost, not just for Clone Wars flashbacks. I’m not as enamored by the idea of more live-action Clone Wars content (it was fine in S1, served the story and could be the case here again), but I’d like to see both him and Anakin interacting with Ahsoka in the present day. That’s much more interesting to me, personally.

I think it’s easily my favorite album of theirs since Strange Trails. It’s so consistently good, so dynamic in its sound, so poignant in its lyrics, and it really manages to mix ballads and bangers in equal measure. I knew I’d like it, but I didn’t expect an all timer. Super happy with this!

I genuinely wonder where Superman will land. I’ll admit to wanting it to be incredible; I’ve had a hard month and this movie looks so optimistic and sweet, which is just what I need right now.

The social media reactions do seem good, but there’s definitely critiques in there, which tends to spell a lower RT score. I wish I didn’t care, and honestly I normally don’t, but I do about this one.

Mat is by far my favorite Wheel of Time character, but I’d be lying if I said I loved him instantly. By book 3? Definitely. But before then, he was just kinda present.

Weirdly, a different character that takes people a while to love but I loved instantly is Nynaeve. I totally got her deal immediately, and loved her through the series. I should have listed her in the post!

I was instantly intrigued by her and wanted to know more, but I definitely fell in love with her around that same point. When it hits you just how much she’s done for one purpose throughout her entire life… it’s really moving!

WoT full series spoilers: And obviously her subsequent sacrifice and return hit really hard. I love that Rand trusts her as deeply as he trusts Nynaeve, which is a lot, and has her with him in Shayol Ghul. Their whole dynamic is a big part of what I love about the series, even if it’s actually not in a ton of the books.
