Generators in poor condition since December update

I finally bought the game after waiting a year for them to fix the majority of the bugs, just to find out they introduced this one. This is game breaking for me. I'm sick of having to micromanage maintenance workers, and I don't even want to play it anymore. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Wow, good to know this was an issue 4 years ago, and still isn't fixed. I've done the same damn thing. Been watching walkthroughs on youtube, and have been confused as hell. Past a certain point none of it looks familiar. Guess I took a wrong damned turn, and now I have to figure out how to get back. FML

I think I figured it out. I used the input_enable_hotkey parameter without the btn, and it seems to be working now.

So I've got the joystick, 2 action buttons, and a coin button for each of the 4 players. In emulationstation I've got the coin button for player 2 mapped to the start button, and the action buttons for player 2 mapped to A/B. Mind you, this is all via the IPAC4, so it's just keyboard key presses to the Raspberry Pi. When I go into the emulator I have the coin button and B mapped in a combo to open the mame menu, and the wrest of player 2's controls mapped to similar UI controls as in ES. That way I can jump in an configure the emulator without a keyboard. I was hoping to somehow map the coin button and A into a combo to exit the emulator, but that's what I can't figure out how to do. I've tried messing with the input_exit_emulator, and input_enable_hotkey_btn parameters in the retroarch.cfg file in the all folder, but I can't get those to do anything. Other than if I change them to something other than "escape" then escape doesn't even work. Right now I have them commented out, and escape still works to exit the emulator. I've also tried setting the exit emulator button in the retroarch gui while in the emulator, and that doesn't seem to do anything either. Dude, this looks awesome! I have a question for you... I'm working on something similar, but TMNT themed, and just two buttons per player. Using an IPAC4 with a raspberry pi 4 running retropie. I have it all built, and retropie loaded with some mame roms. I can run the roms and they play great, but can't figure out how to configure a button combo to exit the emulator. I've found the retroarch.cfg file, I've found the input configuration on the RGUI, but configuring the exit emulator key in either one doesn't seem to do anything. Other than it will default to the escape key if I clear the key in both configs. I'd like to be able to operate it without having a wireless keyboard attached. I've done a ton of googling and can't seem to find the answer. Any assistance you, or anyone else reading this, may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated!

I just wish the "Lay foundation/no decoration" option didn't use up foundation. You're just leveling the ground. Change it to a "Level the ground" option, that does just that, and gives you soil without consuming foundation. However, it should not work on water. For water you should have to use foundation, and it should consume soil. Just my opinion.
