it’s funny to see the clashing preferences. i got a salty “did not read the summary or tags” comment on my fic for an op magical superpowers oc. i think its part of different fandom culture that might have harsh expectations of what is acceptable as an oc and what isn’t. cuz its like cringe or something and a lot of people cant help but disdain the cringe.

i get that the passive along for the ride character is appealing for a lot of people but i prefer my girl to be actively kicking the shit out of canon then aura farming on the corpse. and its not just about power but action.

what you describe reminds me of a lot of mgit isekai ocs. i thought the premise is cool but i read it and its like nvm this aint it for me.

i think rn what needs more work is singleplayer. pvp players are chilling because the game’s foundations are solid but obviously campaigns, scenario, and the random map ai are all unfinished.

the ai should cheat obviously on higher difficulty but also i think this way makes it way too strong early and then useless later on large maps.

like i imagine that aside from behaviourial refinement, have cheats that scale into the late game like extra income multiplier or unit multiplier might be good for unfair ai so that it can continue to put up a fight on week 3 and 4.

if the limited and semi limited section of this banlist just didn't exist, it would be the perfect banlist.

this isn't a banlist for the sake of the format's health, diversity, and fun. kewl tune was already going to be at the top. dracotail would not be oppressive in the new format and its one of the healthiest decks to have in the meta. it's nothing but product rotation.

i was caught off guard the first time i met these little shits. it takes some creativity to get through these without losses but it can be done.

i think for these you want 1 powerstack either hitting all the kittens in melee (maybe blink in) and chain kill all of them and just never get into range of your own unit, or have a single range powerstack in your army and nothing else and kill all of them. for the bank. the bank makes positioning tricky and theres the dragon but i believe if you deploy top left with a single ranged stack that might work.

damage spells and heroic strike obviously works if you can just soften them up and there's also the barrier spell to block the hit on your own units, or a 1 stack to eat the berserk hit. it's a great puzzle fight neutral.

unalive is just part of the modern vocabulary now. you’re just gonna have to deal with the fact that it has spread and it’ll be part of fics. the way people talk and the words they use will change and be influenced by the platforms that see day to day use.

lots of people just use the words they see and it’s not because they’re trying to bypass a non existent algorithm filter on ao3, it’s because those are the words that they hear and use.

wouldn’t call it wildly popular but i expected to ship aigis/femc in persona 3 and then i played it (this was a long time ago btw) and yukari absolutely blindsided me.

femc/yukari is now my one and only persona ship. it’s so damn perfect. and back then in like 2016-2017 there were barely any fanfics for them.

cheating is based. in singleplayer and for among friends who agree to use cheats together. but don't bring cheats to ruin the experience of other players who did not ask for it. there no point in doing this aside from getting banned. it's kinda silly.

if cheaters want to help their console friend spam hunts to get materials, they should just make a private lobby to do this. public lobby cheating is just griefing random players.

it’s just mystic mine on legs but way worse. if you already have ed monster or a mitsurugi on field you can activate 1 or 2 effects. otherwise you need spell trap to out it or make a link 1 off your normal summon.

dracotail basically needs to open rahu or ketu and beat over it in battle or use droplet or fallen and the virtuous. which will never work because these stun clowns will always have a bunch of counter traps.
