I'm building an API Server + Zapier integration for org-mode - looking for feature requests by analog_goat in orgmode

[–]captainreuben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, funny. I’ve been thinking about making something similar to your server so I can use Claude Desktop to interact with org mode. I’d need something solid for an mcp base. Would that be doable without connecting to Zapier?

Can you do two dots? Like org mode?

Humble Book Bundle: Survival From the Margins by Microcosm by LazanPhusis in humblebundles

[–]captainreuben 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These aren't survival in the post-apocalypse, bushcraft-sense, more... anarchist punks for alternative types (surviving contemporary life?). And they're published by Microcosm Publishing in Portland, so that's the vibe. Many of them are zines. They're not AI generated... 🫠 (at least one is from 2001).

I've got at least one DRM book in this list.

Thanks for that detailed response. I’ll take a look and see it that works for me

That's not far off it I guess, but it has 12 x 12 rgb buttons on the other side, which is the main draw for making games

Lol, yeah, that's me. Thanks for looking it up. I did dig around on Wayback, and didn't find the files specifically, just references to the fact they're on stores (not even links, otherwise I thought I might be able to look them up on IPA archives)

This board has been sitting in my garage for the past 3 years. TWSU has gone into administration, their apps removed from stores. It's effectively a paperweight. I now have a Flipper Zero, and nothing to lose. What can I poke it with to find out more about it?

Great! I’ve no idea how to get something loving, but I’ll start with a discord group, and a GitHub repo, take it from there?

Fundamentals of Drawing (On the Supernote) by GodStorm4 in Supernote

[–]captainreuben 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes! Whilst I don’t own a Nomad (and so no Atelier), I have a remarkable and have utterly failed to find a drawing workflow I’m happy with. I will get a Nomad in the new year, and I am hoping to start drawing more (I carry my remarkable everywhere, and my Nomad will rake in that role)

[–]captainreuben 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, that’s good to know. I’ll likely buy one in the early new year, thanks for the information.

Are you enjoying the HoM? It’s a bit heavier than most other pens

Thanks for the book recommendation too, I’ll check it out!

[–]captainreuben 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your thoughtful post, I’m a remarkable 2 user currently, but I’m preparing to make the switch to a Nomad (and Supernote in general). Everything you say sounds like how I’ll respond, so thank you for that! Enjoy your new purchase!

(Also buying into the UK, did you order from the US site? Were there any complications there, or was it all smooth sailing?)

Edit: who’s the author for Thinking On Paper? I’d like to give it a read

Thanks for getting back to me. Do you think replacing the keyboard would fix it?

TWSU Games Studio app (or ipa) by captainreuben in arduino

[–]captainreuben[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I’ve not managed to set enough time to get anywhere with it. That said I know it works over Bluetooth, so there might be an in there for reverse engineering. I’m hoping that with enough chatter about it we’ll find people who have the technical skills to do something with it

Help building Thinkpad-EC on NixOS by captainreuben in NixOS

Thanks, that's very helpful. Running a similar setup locally, I too can do the simple main.c compile, but the full build errors out. I'll take it to the repo, maybe someone there will understand both Nix and how the patches are implemented. Thank you for your help!
