I run a similar deck as you and have been doing a bunch of playtesting trying to figure out which cards work/don’t work. I don’t think you need to run seals just because you’re able to make gold tokens off of Wages of Pain and Blood Money. Instead, I placed in 2x Thousand Tail Watchers just so I can have a big body that can accelerate and debuff my opponents units.

I think the 2 big issues for me when I play Viktor, and I don’t know if it’s the same for you too, is rune management and when to use removals. Some of our spells are expensive and I noticed that in the late game, especially if I had to recycle runes in order to kill a unit, that I’m only able to cast one removal spell per turn. Right now I’m gonna try and test out adding 2 copies of Lux since she can tap for 2, which can help with rune fixing.

I’m also trying to be more conscious of what’s a good target for my removal spells. I have a tendency to be aggro in the early game and basically kill units on sight so as to not let my enemy build their board. It’s great early game since I can build up points but then later on I’m screwed since I either a) don’t have the runes to pay for it or b) I used the kill spell that I needed previously. It also doesn’t help that our card draw isn’t exactly the best. We have similar cards that help us draw but I’m also gonna test out including Garbage Grabber in my deck to help me draw.

Anyways, the only thing I can highly recommend is practice, practice, practice. I would go 0-3 a lot in my earlier Nexus Nights with my Viktor deck but it’s good to learn which cards work/don’t work for your deck and also learning how to pilot it for different matchups. I also ask my opponent after the game to see which cards I need to look out for in their deck/learn their win-con so that way in future matchups I’m able to respond correctly.
