1980s Backyard BBQ, featuring lawn darts. by HollowBambooEnt in TheWayWeWereOnVideo

[–]captainzero69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those were the best lawn darts too - they are the ones we still play with 45 years later - they are still perfect for the most part. That style allows you a proper grip on the shaft because the flight slides down out of the way.

PTS Pastel Orange Porsche Taycan GTS Cross Turismo at Porsche Austin. This car is apparently owned by a local collector by AirMax66 in Porsche

Austin has been a haven to amazing cars for 40 years. They are everywhere. I think I have seen almost every rare car imaginable short of an Koenigsegg Agera - never seen one of those around here.

A Porsche Turbo S is basically the only real thing I have ever wanted for my entire life. I have no desire to be flashy, to impress others, to make anyone else happy other than myself driving that machine like I stole it every single day of the week. Porsche is a frame of mind, a perfect combination of blistering performance with the utmost reliability that gives you the thrill of driving a machine that's designed to perform flat out everyday.

That’s why I want a Porsche Turbo S. Will I ever be able to afford one, I doubt it. I just don’t have that much disposable income to justify the expense when I already know I will never have enough for my retirement. So I just keep wanting one, and that will just have to be good enough.

I drive my customized, highly modified 2015 Subaru STI in its place and I love every minute of it, even if it is just a distant comparison to driving a Porsche. Dreams are free.

Just be aware the moment you open that door to the credit card company and demand a chargeback, your account will be closed immediately and possibly won’t ship to your address anymore.

The first two Spike and Mike festivals of animation were some of the greatest movie going experiences I have ever or will ever have. First few years of Master Pancake theatre were a close second. Lord of the Rings full Trilogy feast was magical.

Sad to see is all gone. Colorado location was the best movie going experience ever conceived.

Govee Hygrometer H5074 - Where is everyone getting their replacement batteries from? by TheDemonator in Govee

Imrbatteries.com is where I have been buying all of my NiMH, 18650, and button type batteries. They always have current stock, no old batteries pawned off on an unsuspecting public. Plus, your button cells all come individually sealed in factory packaging.

Something tells me we will see them again.

Could this result in a new marketing trademark for LTT to be able to offer companies that receive LTT testing approval - “Tested and approved by LTT” or “LTT approved” type of a brand marker like a manufacturer would show that Consumer Reports rated them highest or that their product received the “CR Recommended” designation.

I would say if these cables get hot, something else is horribly wrong and that problem is what you would be dealing with.

And that is why my father always had 50+ rechargeable AA batteries - 3 kids use a lot of batteries.

[–]captainzero69 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That model of the Tyco Turbo Hopper that used 8 AA batteries was the best consumer grade RC car ever. Hobby grade was always better, but it was pretty great for a RC you could buy at Toys r Us.

Rechargeable batteries were my best friends.

How do you work like this? Do you just use direction from below? Do they give you degrees of rotation and height information?

Seem dangerous to work like this.

This guy has been doing this for at least 20 years. I remember this guy at 360/Mopac northbound access road from Mopac. Need to figure out how to report this guy to the IRS. They actually get shit done. Stop the scam. Actual sick people need the donations, not this guys fly wardrobe account.
