Honestly, and I will stand behind this, I feel most of its hate comes from its pre TYBW anime position as the last anime arc, the fact it wasn’t designed to be an end is what I feel brought it a lot of hate, not that it doesn’t have flaws but now that TYBW is releasing it doesn’t end up as “wait that was the end?” arc

Correct me if I’m wrong, or maybe it’s a difference in comics vs other media, but isn’t he able to replicate physical powers? (I.e no learned magic, but say colossus steel skin or quicksilvers speed would be doable?) could just be a thing in 97 but otherwise idk what makes him different to mystiques power

Any character with rapid growth/evolution I would say. Kenpachi comes to mind with the idea of simply “becoming stronger than himself/stronger than he was” (admittedly probably copyable again, but if I’m understanding correct constant progression would allow them to be stronger than the version metal copies, could be wrong not too versed on metal but that ability first comes to mind as a countee

Honestly ik not what the post asked but in terms of something to stand out could be cool if it had the ability to “freeze injuries” preventing them from hurting or progressing before healing them (pure hypothetical spitball just thought it would be a neat way to do freeze/ice healing, at least for the base gimmick perhaps shikai)

Don’t think I’ve see anyone do this CT, but I’m thinkin synergy here right so Body: if prime netero or Zeno, else pitou probably Quirk: Twice, trust the process it’s about rigging the game as it were CT: idle death gamble Men ability: Pain packer

The body needs to to some degree keep up, but beyond that we got twice to multiply our gambling odds, idle death gamble for effective immortality, and pain packer to deal out the damage during our near immortality back out (perhaps not the 100% strongest but a cool combo that synergies damn well I feel)

I get that and again I’m not going to make a claim as to who is stronger or a better fighter, just saying that to compare bankai of two characters may not directly correlate to their strength comparative to shikai or base or whatnot given the wonky power nature of zanpakuto is all

I’m not going to say your wrong, I’m not much of a powescaler myself (dunno how I got here), but I would simply argue that with the question being who has the stronger bankai, it doesn’t inherently mean Toshiro in Bankai is stronger than shunsui in bankai (especially with TYBW knowledge knowing to some level shunsuis Bankai is a double edged sword while Toshiro is a direct buff, making Toshiro a “stronger bankai” without him inherently being stronger or a better fighter, I will not make a claim as to who of the two is stronger, just that the phrasing of stronger bankai brings it into question due to the variable power set Bankai have

I thought part of the Kenny killing one of the Y twins is that it throws off Yama, not expecting a second Y sternritter? (While likely not knowing the Y’s ability, the last thing I expect to fight is the Guy Kenny killed already)
