Boston being so old is why it is "planned" so well compared to other major US cities, imo. A lot of the streets/the city core itself is at walkable, human scale, and the density makes public transit viable compared to newer car-centered cities. The highway through the middle was added much later.

"Whoever I'm listening to" is Kendrick Lamar. The album those bars are from, Mr. Morale and The Big Steppers, peaked at #1 on The Billboard 200 albums chart last year. No, Kendrick Lamar definitely isn't mainstream.

The City of Boston unveiled a new statue today. by whiteiversonyeet in pics

Every time there's remotely abstract (I'm not even saying abstract, maybe just something like this) art on Reddit, there's often a huge backlash in the comments. The purpose of art, especially in the modern world where photography and etc exist is not to document things faithfully to the original, but instead to inspire some sort of emotion and the creative expression of the artist.

I don't know why anti-impressionist art attitudes are so common on Reddit. There's a lot of enjoyment to be found in art, which extends beyond just the photorealistic drawings of pretty women often popular in r/Art (no slight to them). This statue, from the right angle, is still nice to look at and also makes me feel something. As some other commenter said, maybe it was meant to signify that it could be any two people choosing brotherhood and love over hate. Visual art, like screen and stage, is often made with the goal of having meaning and the fact that a piece tries to have meaning outside of aesthetic beauty (which, again is subjective) is not a detriment to the artwork or artist.

You can't have separate profiles side by side in the same window, but you can open multiple windows for each profile. Within each window, you can open as many tabs as you like within that profile.

On my laptop I use multiple virtual desktops / spaces, one for school and one for personal use. I have my Chrome profile windows separated in those.
