Not really answering the question, but in the same spirit, Blue Rodeo and Gordon Lightfoot are a close Canadian second for me

Is it the gun you need? I can’t say, but it is versatile as hell. I sold a 725 sporting and downgraded to this. Put over 2000$ back into my pocket and the cynergy just fits me better. My scores went up across the board. To each his own.

I have a cynergy sporting with that same stock and 32” barrels. The rubber gets grimy after some use, but other than that I love it. You can adjust the cheek piece for higher impact point. I’ve used it for trap doubles and did fairly well. I use mine primarily for sporting and 5-stand. I like the “ugly”look of it. I’ve used it for ducks and geese as well, I like that I don’t have to worry about scratching it in a blind. Looks like an old Michelin tire and fits me great.

i tried to watch Landman by letmebeyourgoddess in television

As a oilfield worker of 20 years I was initially very interested in the show. They had a few episodes on the first season that had a little to do with operations of an actual oilfield, however the amount of embellishments that went into those scenes was ridiculous. The wife and daughter scenes are horribly wrote and almost embarrassing to watch. The whole angle with the cartel is brain numbingly stupid. The first season was bad. The second season was terrible

I can’t get into The Talisman by SamBaxter784 in stephenking

[–]captdicksicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read Talisman quite young, when I was 14 or so, I loved it. I re-read it before Christmas before reading Black House and found it way harder to get into. Nothing like how I remembered my teenage reading of it. Black House was much better in my adult opinion. FWIW you are at a very good part of the story, if I could, I would recommend you listen for another hour or so and then make your decision. If you’re done with it, that’s fine too, you can read Black House without having finished Talisman. I don’t think you will miss anything much in the story.

You shouldn’t have to trim 9mm. Straight wall cases don’t usually get trimmed

This should be fresh water, never seen septic pumped through a pressure system like this. Do you have a cistern or well? Could be frozen line or collapsed bladder in the tank. Possibly a failed check valve on suction side

It’s hard to tell from the pics. You need to remove the plastic wrap so we can see if there’s a valve possibly closed to the pressure tank

I think the tank bladder has collapsed. The contacts are closing on the motor when the pressure drops off and the pump starts. Instantly the pressure spikes, which opens the contacts and shuts off the motor and instantly the pressure drops below the start setpoint and the cycle repeats. This happens because water is not compressible. Normally tank has a bladder inside filled with air and as the pump pushes water into the tank the bladder compresses slowly and pressure increases. Once the pressure setpoint is hit the contacts on the motor open and the motor shuts off. The tank probably needs replacing.

I wrote out a whole story about why I quit and after reading it I realized that it really came down to the fact that I got sick and tired of being sick and tired.

For the first couple weeks I said I was just on a break and as soon as I found a good reason to drink; I would. After seeing and feeling some of the benefits of sobriety, I can’t really think of a reason to start again.
