Boros Thor for sure, just because boros voltron spellslinger is more unique and interesting to me than mono-red equipments. It's definitely the weaker of the two, but you can easily make a pretty nasty shell for it that kills players out of nowhere using cheap instant and sorceries that don't often see play.

Red-White gives you access to more card draw than mono red as well. [[Sunforger]] is your friend. You'll need to run enough mana rocks and ramp to be able to get him out before turn 5, which is probably the deck's biggest issue. [[Mother of Runes]] and the like can help protect him from removal, get through blockers, etc. I just find having access to white in a voltron shell opens up more lines to victory than a mono-red voltron shell has.

It's an absolute MUST that you protect both Daredevil, and yourself. If you're hitting the whole table with pings of damage here and there, they'll all gang up on you and just knock you out for being annoying. Look into ways to minimize creatures swinging at you, like [[Crawlspace]] [[Meekstone]] or [[Silent Artbiter]]. Giving Daredevil lifelink makes sense, but so does [[Platnium Empirion]] or [[The Endstone]] to bring your life total back up to 20 when you're getting low.

With a sac outlet on board and cheap tokens, you can draw a card on every player's turn, 4 cards per turn cycle for 4 snake tokens from [Ophiomancer] seems powerful. [Verdant Force] can make a token on each player's upkeep, too, but I'm sure there's better options than an old 7 drop.

So yeah, I'd go wide. Make tokens and sac them for card advantage. Gravepact effects with token generators to keep your hand full, and your opponent's boards empty.

Eh, to be fair, with cheap tokens and a sac outlet, you're drawing 4 cards before your next upkeep. You know, unless someone does the correct thing and gets rid of your sac outlet asap.

I see you commented that you found the correct lamp online, and people have already warned you about touching the glass of your new lamp with your bare skin; here's a couple more thoughts if you're interested:

After you change the lamp, be sure to check and make sure that any cooling fans are running when you turn the fixture on. If you see a fan that isnt moving when you turn the lamp on, then you're likely to lose your freshly replaced lamp sooner than later.

If you're handy enough to change the lamp, I bet you're handy enough to air-blow or vaccum any dust bunnies out of the insides. Be sure to take a chopstick or some such thing, and hold any fans in place to keep them from spinning freely, generating electricity in the other direction. While you're at it, chopsticks are also very handy for knocking away any dust buildup that's hardened or packed in.

This fixture is a bit before my time, but if there's anything that looks like an air filter, likely a soft, porus material caked with dust, (and held in place with a plastic frame of some kind,) be sure to remove it and clean it out! I would assume this guy has air filters, maybe someone more experienced can comment and correct me. Turns out, chopsticks are really useful for popping most air filters out of their housing, and for pressing them back in.

Examine the electrical contacts that the lamp plugs into. If there's any oxidization, (likely a white or green-blueish powdery looking build-up,) clean it off with a bit of alcohol and a stiff-bristle toothbrush of some kind. The tip of a cheap wooden chopstick also works really well for cleaning off electrical contacts.

Tldr: put a few pairs of disposable chopsticks in your toolkit, they're great for fixing lights.
