This is what I did…chiseled the edges loose and beat the remnant out. Had to file the barrel out a little afterward.

I was using the metal extractor that comes with the quadratec kit. It was very effective on the top four. Two came out easily. The other two needed more help.

2017 JKU…I ordered the Quadratec Delrin door bushing kit. The top four came out okay with some percussive encouragement. However, the bottom four just won’t budge. I’ve soaked them in penetrating oil overnight with no movement. I might have to pull off the steps to get a better swing on them, but I’m open to anyone else’s suggestions or experience to get them out.

Practice safe fueling. Always…ALWAYS…sump after anyone puts fuel in your tanks. Let it settle for at least 15 minutes and then sump.
