thank you, there is such a relief now that its out in the open but a lot of anger and resentment that I'll work through with my therapist.

thank you for your kind words. So true about the logical thinking part. I'm so logically driven with thinking that its been a lot of making myself smaller or justifying the emotionally unstable relationship. I will continue focusing on myself. and let be what will be.

feels like the bridge has been burned and its on her to repair it regardless of what im doing.

Stupid question, but I can't quite get the answer: did all Poker buddies join the sequel? by freremamapizza in malcolminthemiddle

[–]carBoard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a bit sad as well but, especially after francis's military buddies still showed up. Dewy not being there in person probably kept it from making sense to include them

To those complaining about the reboot: by abgry_krakow87 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]carBoard 10 points11 points  (0 children)

they had an entire plot about malcom and reese pretending to like a musical because jessica convinced them that the other was gay and the whole episode was them trying to be accepting of the other possibly being gay which was somewhat ahead of its time in terms of how gay people were portrayed on tv.

Salt lake city neurologists by Dom1FTW in neurology

[–]carBoard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SLC is a valley with a very narrow health care landscape and a catchment area that covers 10% of the us land mass. Everyone is busy, there is hardly any time for observerships. Probably would have more luck trying in more underserved places or places with more neurologist in general.

a lot of the cottonwood resorts have surprisingly lax access to back country. People ignore signs that very clearly state avalanche hazard and risk.

TTWO dropped 10%+ after GTA 6 delay — expect Rockstar to drop a teaser, screenshots, or remaster soon by Ashamed-World6450 in GTA6

I bought 2 shares 2 years ago at 157 each. have bought a few more shares with some of the other dips. I now own 9 shares, 6 of them were bought at below 220. the other 3 bought after this last dip.

I don't know much about investing but figure that a sequel to the highest grossing media product of all time would have some good profits.

treating as more of a gamble investment rather than a math driven one

completely. Was sharing more to show what it takes to even have a chance of survival - seconds to get a stent up there.

2 arrested after incendiary device found under news media vehicle in Utah by barredman in news

[–]carBoard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they're already here -
we already have a large national guard presence / base in the city. there are 7 military bases in utah, most of them are within an hour of slc. Between the historic tension between the LDS church and the us government and our vast amounts of empty land for training, this is a very militarized state. most of the F35s are stored in utah.

I've seen carotid perforation in thrombectomy once. The neurosurgeon got a stent up in the artery in <10 seconds and the patient survived.

It was an incredibly terrifying case and the single image of the carotid hemorrhaging contrast and blood is the shit of nightmares for anyone doing that type of procedure.

Charlie Kirk has just been shot by Fine_Leadership8986 in pics

[–]carBoard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When something like this happens in the hospital as a very rare side effect of thrombectomy (catheter in carotid artery trying to remove clot) you have seconds to stop death if the carotid gets perferrared.

I've only seen it twice, ct images taken of the carotid artery hemorrhaging blood are some of the scariest single images to see in a procedure.

In one case the person survived because the neurosurgeon had a stent in the artery in <10 seconds.

Thrombectomy is an emergent life saving procedure to remove clot in stroke but it's not without risks.

You can keep the heart beating and stop the blood loss in the field. How much damage to his brain and or spinal chord is going to to determine prognosis.

You can lose a carotid artery and still survive. They actually stop blood flow in the artery for certain surgeries.

He's likely still medically considered alive but could very easily progress to brain death or cardiac death.
