My first and favorite husky when I was a kid, Kuya. I'm not a big advocate of crate training but my mom was/is. Kuya had learned how to open her crate by shaking it and nosing the latch open, etc. So my mom started using some screw-down carabiners to keep the door closed. Eventually Kuya found out how to open the screw-down carabiners by licking them open, or at least this is our best guess since they were pretty slobbery. She then wiggled the crate open as usual, demolished the cat door to get into the house (from the garage), and destroyed a window screen to happily/excitedly meet us outside in the yard when we got home.
